My name is Struan Davie, and I am a Videographer and Photographer based in the UK. From the roar of the crowd in packed arenas to the quiet focus behind the camera lens, my journey in digital media has been shaped by the fast-paced, high-stakes world of professional sports. As a social media coordinator and digital producer within the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) — the UK’s premier professional ice hockey league and currently ranked 7th in Europe for attendance, I’ve honed the ability to craft compelling content under pressure, delivering high-quality multimedia that captures attention and drives engagement.

What began as a passion for storytelling through digital platforms has grown into a career dedicated to building and enhancing brand presence. Whether working under tight deadlines or tailoring creative assets for web, social, or advertising, I bring a solutions-focused mindset and meticulous attention to creative detail in every project I undertake.

In addition to my work within professional ice hockey, I am a full-time student working towards my undergraduate degree in Management and Economics.

Away from the rink and the classroom is where I have had the opportunity to launch my own freelance content production efforts, enabling me to collaborate with clients across diverse sectors. This entrepreneurial venture has allowed me to apply strategic thinking and creativity to meet client objectives, produce brand-aligned content, and provide assets that drive measurable value.

Some of my recent clients include: V&A Dundee, IMG, NHLEurope, Strathallan School, Uig Sands Restaurant, EIHL, Panmure Golf Club, GIANT Music.

I also have had the privilege of capturing many couple’s wedding days - doing both photography and videography respectively. In addition to the above I have had previous work doing drone content capture for a variety of businesses: from consultancy agencies to property companies I have you covered for content in the air too!

Driven by creativity, grounded in strategy, and constantly learning I aim to contribute meaningfully to every team I’m part of, and to continue growing in industries where brand identity and content excellence are key.
